Brothers Robert and Hugh Fraser began working with Edensure in June 2005. Three of the Fraser Group’s forecourts now have the ES3 service; Pippin Service Station in Wiltshire and BP Georgetown and Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. Commenting on Edensure’s ES3 service, Hugh Fraser said:
“I have been in this industry for over 30 years and had various tank gauges and systems that claim to identify wet stock loss. The difference with ES3 is that it can pinpoint the problems and tell me exactly where my losses are occurring. It can identify which pumps are over-dispensing and by how much - this level of accuracy means we can make timely management decisions and cut back the nozzles that are costing us money.
“ES3 also lets us know when we have been under delivered, which is a very important aspect of the service. We now have the power to go to our suppliers and show them evidence of short deliveries. Having this information to hand is helping us to negotiate a more balanced relationship. With the NWML on board, Edensure are starting to make a very real impact in the industry.
“I would encourage every retailer in the business to get in touch with Edensure. We are all custodians of the fuel industry and need to take every measure possible to ensure our forecourts are being run to the highest standards, especially from an environmental point of view. I need to rest in bed at night knowing that my tanks aren’t leaking under the ground, and I can do that knowing that Edensure are checking my sites’ wet stock data, second-by-second. If there was a problem, I would know about it immediately.”
Robert and Hugh Fraser are very well known in the petrol retail industry, Robert is chairman of the Lakeside Group which has 25 members of like-minded independent retailers sharing in best practice. The Thames Valley-based Fraser Group was originally founded by Hugh and Robert’s father Charles Fraser.
